Oct. 2 marked the two-year anniversary of Tom Petty’s passing. Jon Scott, Tom’s friend of forty years and who was critical in getting his music on radio, released “Tom Petty and Me” – a book chronicling how it all happened (and how it almost didn’t). On his final concert, Tom gave a tribute to Jon Scott with thanks and a song. Jon was the air live with Sister Sylvie on Sunday, October 6 during The Homegrown Music Show.
